The Arabic-language spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Avichay Adraee, denies reports that appeared in the Arab and Palestinian media according to which the troops of the Jewish state opened fire last night on people waiting for aid in the city of Gaza, killing 21 people.
“The latest reports that the IDF targeted dozens of Gaza residents on Thursday evening at a humanitarian aid distribution point are incorrect,” Adraee said in a statement posted on her X account. “As the IDF examines the details of the incident with the necessary accuracy, we ask the media to act in the same way and rely on reliable information regarding the matter", adds the Israeli military spokesperson.
The Hamas-run Palestinian Ministry of Health said that at least 21 people died and another 155 were injured in a new massacre of civilians waiting for help which occurred at the hands of Jewish state forces near the Kuwait roundabout, in the main city of the Strip.
