Chips at Lidl are affected by a recall.
The product was only not sold in four federal states in Germany.

– The Lidl company provides information about a recall on its website.
A false product in tortilla chip packages is the background.
The discounter reacted immediately “for reasons of consistent consumer protection” and removed the affected product from sale, as the company announced on its website.
Meanwhile, a smoothie from the Schwarz Group was also recalled.
Tortilla chips recalled from Lidl: Contents may differ from labeling
Affected at Lidl is the product “Snack Day salted tortilla chips, 300g” from the Belgian manufacturer “NV Snack Food Poco Loco”.
The recalled product has a
best before date of December 14, 2024
and the
lot number 34045 0421
.
The reason for the recall may be incorrect goods in the package.
It cannot be ruled out that cheese-flavored tortilla chips are also included instead of the declared salted tortilla chips.
Lidl is recalling its own brand of tortilla chips.

Milk proteins could be dangerous for allergy sufferers – an overview of the possible effects

Recall from Lidl: The chips were not sold in four federal states
The “Snack Day salted tortilla chips, 300g” were sold at Lidl Germany in all federal states with the exception of Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein.
Consumers can return the tortilla chips in question to any Lidl branch and get their money back - even without presenting the receipt.
Recently, large discounters such as Lidl, Kaufland and Aldi were also affected by a major biscuit recall.
