The awarding of the German Garden Book Prize took place at Dennenlohe Castle for the 19th time.

This prize, presented by Stihl and awarded in various categories by Schloss Dennenlohe, honors gardening books from Germany.

There is also the European Gardenbook Award, which Baron and Baroness Süsskind established to honor European gardening books.

In a two-day process, a jury of experts evaluated more than 125 books submitted by the publishers.

The large number of entries covered various genres and topics of garden life and were judged based on criteria such as innovation, creativity, information content and visual appeal.

For the first time, the best garden creators were also honored and five special prizes were awarded.

The winners of the German Garden Book Prize and the European Garden Photo Award receive financial support in the form of prize money totaling 12,000 euros.
