Suffering from stiff person syndrome, Céline Dion preferred rest to the light of the spotlight.
But for several weeks, the Quebec singer has slowly reappeared.
This Saturday, March 16, on the occasion of International SPS Awareness Day, short for her illness, the latter took the opportunity to deliver a message.
“As many of you know, in the fall of 2022 I was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).
Trying to overcome this autoimmune disease has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life,” she wrote.

And to continue: “But I remain determined to one day return to the stage and lead a life as normal as possible.

After months of silence, Celine Dion has reappeared two other times since the start of the 2024 school year. First as part of the Grammy Awards, a ceremony organized in Los Angeles each year, on February 5.
The artist took the stage to present the album of the year award to singer Taylor Swift.
A few days later, she attended an ice hockey game in Las Vegas, this time accompanied by her three sons.
