“
What is the value of life?
Worth?
A cell phone, a wallet, a backpack, a bicycle or nothing?
Because they can kill you and they don't take anything from you.”
The heartbreaking proposal, in the midst of an extreme situation for them, was made on Friday by the family of a 30-year-old man who is in critical condition after being
shot by motorcycle jets
when he went to work in Córdoba.
The episode occurred in the early morning hours in the Crisol Sur neighborhood of the provincial capital.
The victim was approached by the criminals
after leaving her house on her bicycle
and as she resisted, she was shot several times with a 9 millimeter pistol.
He is now
fighting for his life
in the Emergency Hospital, where he remains hospitalized in a pharmacological coma.
“He is stable, but
he is at risk because the bullet touched the tip of his heart
and they had to give him two stitches,” said
Gabriel, his father
, in dialogue with
El Doce
.
“A bullet entered at his shoulder level, went down and passed between the lung and the heart and grazed them a little.
Then she was lodged at the height of the diaphragm and it is a blessing because she did not go down to the stomach or break other things,” he added.
Then, he expanded on what he was informed in the last medical report: “The three impacts he received on the face are “glancing blows” that are impressive to see.
When they told me that he was shot in the face,
I imagined the worst
.”
“He is stable, but with the danger that all this entails,” Gabriel clarified.
“We are experiencing a complicated problem in society.
It is a family problem because you grow up in a place that then logically takes identity from where you are growing up and unfortunately
today society wants to live well at the expense of others
,” she remarked.
The victim, 30 years old, is in critical condition at the Córdoba Emergency Hospital.
Finally, he compared the situation in Córdoba with that in Rosario, which in recent days has focused attention on episodes of insecurity: “This crime wave continues to increase and we do not know how far it will take us.
We talk about Rosario and here we are experiencing something very similar.”
“If they shoot so many shots at you, it is to kill you now, not just to scare you,” he lamented.
For her part, Mariela, the victim's mother, said that her son's condition "is critical, but it is day by day."
She “She will get out of danger when she is discharged in her house.
“It is a miracle and it has to be complete now,” she added.
The investigators, until this Friday, had not managed to find the criminals.
