The photo of Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni shaking hands, stained with blood, and the words 'stopgenocide' is the poster hoisted on the truck that opened the procession of pro-Palestine demonstrators in Rome who started shouting "Free Palestine, intifada until victory".
To the tune of the song 'Casa mia' by Ghali, the demonstrators crossed the capital.
In the front row with her daughter for the liberation of Gaza and Palestine, also the actress Yamina Brirmi, the artist of Tunisian origins in the limelight in recent months for her interpretation of Giulia Luciani, in the Eternal Suburra series.
There are many slogans against Israel and the Italian government: "They kill women, they kill children, Israel is a state of murderers".
And again: "Against the government that has made us a country of war."
"The most powerful weapon in Isra-Hell is your silence," reads one of the posters.
The procession, to the tune of 'Bella Ciao' and then shouting "Free Palestine, intifada", arrived under the Ministry of Education "against the government's repression, against the gangs".
"Zionist Israel, terrorist state. Zionists out of Palestine", some of the slogans of the demonstrators.
"Those who are killing public education are the same ones who are waging war," students shouted in the square.
"In Valditara we should wear donkey ears.
You are fascists", repeated the activists from the megaphone.
