Nice gift to Lille festival-goers: the first two episodes of the highly anticipated series “The 3-Body Problem” were screened at Séries Mania, just after the opening ceremony, this Friday March 15.
For the occasion, actors John Bradley and Jess Hong made the trip.
The first was already in the credits of “Game of Thrones”, whose creators David Benioff and DB Weiss teamed up with Alexander Woo for this adaptation of a Chinese literary saga by Liu Cixin, put online on Netflix on March 21.

The 35-year-old British actor announced in a presentation that the universe of the “3-body problem” “is even bigger because we find ourselves in China in the 1960s and 1970s, in our current world but also in the virtual reality of a video game that allows us to go to any era with different costumes each time.”

An eclectic program for this fiction which features scientists facing inexplicable phenomena.

“The characters are quite deep,” appreciates Amaury, 30 years old.
The young man came with his mother, Odile, 56, who condenses the general trend into a single sentence: “We can't wait to see what happens next.
