The Italian Lisa Vittozzi won the women's biathlon world cup, the second Italian after Dorothea Wierer.
The Italian biathlete finished the mass start held in Canmore, Canada in 21st place - waving the tricolor - but still managed to defend her lead in the rankings thanks to the results of her possible rivals.
In particular, the Norwegian Ingrid Tandevold and the French Lou Jeanmonnot, who won the race, overtaking the Scandinavian in the standings.
Vittozzi finished with 1091 points, preceding the Frenchwoman (1068) and Tandrevold (1044).
