Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release their new album “Wild God” on August 30, 2024 and will present the record on a European tour in the fall.
The relationship status indeed seems a bit complicated.
But – and this is good news – there is at least a relationship.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced a new album together after more than five years.
“Wild God” will be released on August 30th, the Australian and the band want to present the record on their European tour in the fall, and there will be four concerts in Germany: the Munich Olympiahalle is on the itinerary on October 18th, 2024.

The 66-year-old already reveals that “Wild God” is a “complicated album”.
“But it is also deeply and joyfully contagious.” If you want a first impression: the title song has just been released as a single.
After his wonderfully puristic Corona album “Idiot Prayer – Nick Cave alone at Alexandra Palace” from 2020, the multi-instrumentalist presented the solo record “Sven Psalms” in 2022.
In the same year he also published, among other things, the soundtracks for the Netflix productions “Blond” based on the Marilyn Monroe novel by Joyce Carol Oates and “Dahmer”, a series about serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.
The last work Cave released with The Bad Seeds was the double album “Ghosteen” in 2019.
Here the artist, who is also known as an author (the German translation of his book “Faith, Hope and Carnage” was most recently published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2022), dealt with the accidental death of his son Arthur in July 2015. “Wild God”, in turn, is a work of ecstasy, Cave announces.
“I hope the album has the same impact on listeners as it did on me.”
