No direct reference to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's visit to Cairo and the meeting with Egyptian President Al-Sisi but attention focused only on the hearing of the trial for the death of Giulio Regeni scheduled for tomorrow 18 March in Rome.

The parents do not speak but Giulio's mother, Paola, reposted the message on her profiles 'around March 18th...justice for Giulio ', where three hashtags are shown: 'truth and justice for Giulio';
'StopAgreementswithTorture';'let's continue'.
The second hearing in the trial of the four Egyptian 007s accused by the Italian authorities of Giulio's kidnapping and death is scheduled for tomorrow at the Piazzale Clodio court.
Process made possible after the decision of the Council to declare article 420bis, paragraph 3, of the criminal procedure code illegitimate, in the part in which it does not provide that the judge proceeds in his absence for crimes committed through acts of torture when, due to the lack of assistance of the State of origin of the accused, it is impossible to have proof that the latter, although aware of the proceedings, was made aware of the pending trial.
Instead, the social profile 'Giulio is us', in addition to reminding us of the hearing that will be held tomorrow, invites everyone to "return to embrace the Regeni family" and to "return to Piazzale Clodio to ask for truth and justice for Giulio".
The only reference to Egypt was made 23 hours ago by the journalist Beppe Giulietti, of art.21, posting the message "Since Meloni and Von Der Leyen will go to Egypt, they will bring to Italy those accused of kidnapping, torture, murder of Giulio Regeni ?"
"Will the arms trafficking end - he adds -?".
