This is what KC Houseman, a scientist who describes himself as a “megastructurist”, is convinced of.
He is convinced that our satellite is a superstructure built by mysterious ancestors, undoubtedly of extraterrestrial origin.
The only solution then is to send KC into space... “Anything.

And then, it becomes so big that we no longer look for the slightest trace of realism, and we enjoy all these wonderful sequences where the heroes strive to save our planet.
From there, “Moonfall” turns out to be jubilant: Roland Emmerich, who enjoys a special status in Hollywood, since he is considered the king of disaster films but also cherishes science fiction and extraterrestrials, makes us the total in terms of spectacular and anxiety-inducing moments.
