In Germany, license plates usually consist of an abbreviation for the administrative district and an identification number, which consists of two letters and four numbers.

At least you can design the identification number for a small surcharge of around 13 euros, which is added to the registration costs (around 30 euros).

However, there is nothing more possible at the moment.

But who knows, maybe German drivers will one day also have the opportunity to design their own license plate.

After all, there were only recently changes to the license plates here too.
