A tree with pruned and bare branches and greenery sprayed on the white wall of a building a few meters away to simulate the leaves.

It is the new work attributed to Banksy, which appeared yesterday in Hornsey Road, Finsbury Park, in north London.

"He hasn't officially confirmed it yet, but it's him" Stefano Antonelli, curator with Gianluca Marziani of important exhibitions in Italy on the most famous street artist in the world, still unknown, tells ANSA.

At the base of the wall of the building the artist left the stencil of a girl with a pressure sprayer looking up at the tree as if to realize the effect.

''Banksy always offers different interpretations - explains Antonelli -.

The green used could refer to the color linked to St. Patrick's Day celebrated yesterday in England.

The other detail concerns the shade of green, like that of the signs in the municipality of Islington, where the work is located.

Even the tree could have a story to tell that Banksy wanted to bring to the public's attention''.
