Yet another stop for Pierre Kalulu.

The French defender - who only returned to the squad on 25 February after a four-month absence - has to deal with yet another injury.

The full-back suffered a strain on his medial collateral ligament during yesterday's match against Verona and, as the club informed, began conservative treatment immediately.

Recovery times will be evaluated based on the evolution of the therapy but more than a month's stop is expected.

It's a very complicated season for Kalulu who so far has only been called up for nine championship games for a total of just 180 minutes of play.

Nothing serious however for Mike Maignan, the goalkeeper who had physical problems with his left thigh in the match against Verona, is fine and has left for the training camp of the French national team.

Of course, the gap from Inter at the top of the table remains almost unbridgeable (+14) but the two points gained on this last day at least raise a smile.

However, the two points gained over a Juventus team that is increasingly in crisis are more important.

The Rossoneri, after having reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League, consolidated their second place.

What is certain is that the team did not suffer any repercussions from the earthquake that hit the club with the investigation by the Milan Prosecutor's Office.

Today the prosecutors, as per the request of the FIGC Prosecutor's Office, transmitted the search decree carried out last week.

There are only twelve pages provided, because the investigations are still open and the other documents are covered by investigative secrecy, useful for continuing the investigations.

At the center of the investigation is the hypothesis that Elliott still exercises control over the Rossoneri club, as if he were still its owner, thus also creating a 'conflict of interest' - as stated in the Decree in reference to the UEFA regulations - linked to the co-ownership of two teams: Lille and Milan.

In this regard, sources familiar with the situation once again underline that Elliott does not own, nor has it ever owned, controlled or exercised a dominant influence on Lille.

Elliott's loans to Lille and its previous and current owners are public knowledge and have been disclosed to the French football authorities.

Furthermore, the two clubs had faced each other in 2020 in the group stage of the Europa League, when Elliott was the majority shareholder of Milan and the only creditor, together with JP Morgan, of a total loan of around 170 million euros to Gerard Lopez, then owner of Lille.

Neither club was sanctioned by UEFA, which found no infringements of the regulations.

"As a citizen, not as vice-president of the Council, I hope that if the judiciary moves either for Milan or for the buildings in Milan, it moves with absolutely solid elements. Because otherwise they will cause damage to Milan, to Italy, to football and anything else", declared the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini.
