The Rome Prosecutor's Office has asked for 8 years for the former president of the Chamber, Gianfranco Fini, accused in the trial linked to the purchase of an apartment in Monte Carlo. Requested 9 years for his partner Elisabetta Tulliani.
The prosecutor also requested a 10-year sentence for Giancarlo Tulliani and 5 years for his father Sergio.
The proceeding is also proceeding with the crime of money laundering.
"I hid my brother's desire to buy the house in Monte Carlo from Gianfranco Fini. I never told Fini the origin of that money which I was convinced was my brother's.
My brother's unscrupulous behavior represents one of the greatest disappointments of the my life. I hope that with this statement I have provided an element towards arriving at the truth."
This is what Elisabetta Tulliani said in the courtroom,
accused, together with the former president of the Chamber, her brother Giancarlo Tulliani and her father Sergio in the trial linked to the purchase of a house in Monte Carlo.
