It happened in the Cabureí area, about 20 kilometers from
Andresito
, a city that is in the extreme northeast of
Misiones
.
It all started on Saturday night when Maximiliano Bulffe (16) convinced his mother to lend him the truck to take a walk downtown.
The teenager then went to a friend's house, where he met with other boys to drink tereré (iced mate), chat and listen to music.
Already in the early morning hours, the seven boarded the Toyota Hilux single cab truck that Bulffe was driving and headed along provincial route 25 towards the
“La Blanquita” campsite
, which is in the Cabureí area.
Around 5 on Sunday, the group boarded the van again to return to Andresito.
The truck was returning to the city of Andresito when it overturned.
The driver, 16 years old, and one of his companions died.

Police spokespersons said that
the vehicle was traveling at high speed and the driver had begun to make zig zag maneuvers
, perhaps to inconvenience those traveling in the cargo box.
Under these circumstances, the old Toyota Hilux would have skidded, overturned and ended up against a eucalyptus tree located on the side of the road.
The people traveling in the back, including
Amaia Fiorela Romero (13)
, were thrown from the vehicle.
The girl died when she was transferred to a health center with severe head trauma with deformation of the frontal bone.
Bulffe also died but instantly, also as a result of the blows he suffered to the head.
The police doctor confirmed a fracture of the frontal bone, right side;
upper jaw and left shoulder and wrist.
