The Münster “Tatort” team is once again ahead in terms of ratings.
In their new case “Among Gardeners” they go one step further.

And in keeping with this, the Westphalian TV investigators went a step further in this new episode: At its already high level, the Münster “crime scene” has increased by a good one million viewers compared to the previous case.
On average, around 12.73 million people tuned in to the WDR crime drama “Unter Gärtnern” on Erste on Sunday evening.
This meant a phenomenal market share of 41.1 percent for the ARD program.
This meant that TV investigators Frank Thiel (Axel Prahl) and Professor Karl-Friedrich Boerne (Jan Josef Liefers) were by far the ratings winners of the evening.
The previous case from Münster, “The Man Who Fell into the Jungle”, which was broadcast on December 10, 2023, was followed by 11.6 million viewers on Erste, which corresponded to around 38 percent of the market share.
The other Münster “crime scene” from last year, “MagicMom” (broadcast: March 5, 2023) – was seen by 13.9 million people, market share: around 40.5 percent.
By the way, the script for “MagicMom” came from author Regine Bielefeldt, as did “Unter Gärtnern”.
The Münster “Tatort” remains the most successful of the entire crime series
The TV managers at WDR can be happy: two fifths of all people who watched TV on Sunday evening at 8:15 p.m. chose the Münster “Tatort”.
The particularly popular team from Westphalia has been in action since October 2002.
There have been 45 cases so far.
With around 14.6 million viewers, the episode “Fangshot”, which was broadcast on April 2, 2017, is still listed as the most-watched film by the duo Thiel and Boerne – and the most-watched “crime scene” of the last few decades (since 1992).
