The humanitarian ship Ocean Viking, from the NGO SOS Mediterranée, arrived in Ancona ahead of the scheduled time of 6pm, carrying 336 shipwrecked people saved in three different rescue operations (13 March and 14 March).
Among them 32 unaccompanied minors (31 males and 1 female), 21 accompanied minors (17 males and 4 females) and 283 adults (252 males and 31 females).
Among the migrants, five are aged between 1 and 4 years, 13 between 5 and 13 years, 35 between 14 and 17 years, 276 between 18 and 50 years, while seven are over 50. Two grandmothers are pregnant, while a man is disabled.
Most migrants come from Syria, Pakistan, Egypt and Mali.
