All that is missing is the final report from the Court of Appeal of Cagliari for the official proclamation of Alessandra Todde as governor of Sardinia, the first woman to lead the region in 75 years of the island's autonomist history.
The document is expected on Wednesday morning, March 20.
From sources close to the broad-based coalition, it is underlined that this is now just a formality: according to the data in their possession, in fact, the gap between the new president M5s and the center-right challenger Paolo Truzzu (Fdi) is 3,061 votes, a gap which should not push the loser to appeal.
Again according to the same sources, the seat was also awarded in the balance: the Cinquestelle councilor Emanuele Matta (Medio Campidano) passes, while the dem Ivana Russu and the exponent of the PSI Martino Canu remain outside the Regional Council.
