Among the brands tested were Neutrogena, Cien (Lidl), Lancôme, Florena and Sebamed.

The prices of the products ranged from 1.65 euros to 60 euros.

“We then measured which cream was best at enriching the skin with moisture,” says Stiftung Warentest.

The results of the study clearly show that a good moisturizer does not have to be expensive.

Lidl's day care came in third place, well ahead of L'Oréal's luxury brand Lancôme.
