She wore a wedding dress and showed up in Tel Aviv today in what is now known as 'Hostage Square'.
The young Ziv Abud, faced with the amazement of passers-by, explained that she preferred a yellow dress, rather than the traditional white one, to express her solidarity with the over 130 Israelis still held hostage in Gaza by Hamas.
Among these, she explained, there is also her boyfriend, Eliya Cohen.
"We were planning to get married, but we've been separated for 168 days," she added.
On the Ziv dress she applied some chains, a broken heart and also images of several hostages.
Her initiative, which was highlighted in local media, came as a high-level Israeli delegation left for Doha to boost indirect negotiations with Hamas for a prisoner exchange.
