"Cosmoprof is the most important fair in the field of international beauty, it has no borders and is the best showcase in the world for us who need to relaunch the economy, which has been paralyzed for many months because we are in a situation of great difficulty, - he explains to ANSA Nader Alkhatib, CEO of the Dead Sea Pearls brand, a cosmetics company based in Bethlehem which produces and sells ingredients and beauty products containing the famous minerals from the Palestinian coasts of the Dead Sea. - Our industry is half open, we have problems importing raw materials because the borders are blocked. To get to Italy we passed through Jordan, passing many checkpoints and repeated blocks. I arrived here with my daughter and this is a journey of hope for us because here in Bologna we are certain to be able to do good for our economy by entering into agreements with companies from other countries".


    The 55th edition of the fair is the emblem of global business in the beauty sector without borders and sees 3,012 companies present, coming from 69 countries and located in 30 pavilions.

This year we also see the return of Ukraine, with a greater number of brands than in previous editions.

In addition to Palestine, there are other brands exhibiting for the first time in Bologna.

They are the typical beauty products of Estonia, Norway, the Pacific Islands and Singapore.

The event sees the presence of operators from 150 countries and, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ice, important delegations of importers, distributors and retailers from all over the world are present, involving over 70 international offices.

An unprecedented business showcase with 58% of European exhibitors and 42% coming from non-European countries.
