At the Casaidea 2024 Rome Fair (16 -24 March) the solutions of over 150 companies reflect ideas and trends in living, in a mix of innovation and tradition.
The event organized by MOA Società Cooperativa for its 48th edition focuses on outdoor supplies with many solutions for "living" in the summer.
Innovative ideas on display, from furnishings to fireplaces, from outdoor lighting to swimming pools, both in international contemporary styles and in more traditional national expressions.
There is also ample space for high-quality craftsmanship which represents the mastery of the territory in the stands of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and the Lazio Region, present with a collective of over 50 participating companies.
One of the main focuses concerns the materials used, all cutting-edge and environmentally friendly.
It is the designers themselves who mix different types of elements with different consistencies and wood is one of the protagonists, which is combined with all variations of aluminium, wrought iron, stainless steel and other metals.
The combination of material surfaces, so common in nature, is becoming more and more present in furnishings: this is the case of outdoor (and indoor) solutions made of volcanic and lava stone, an almost indestructible material, which is painted to give a touch of truly original color and customization in the form of tables, decorative panels, mirrors, sinks, shower walls, floors, from classic to contemporary flavours.

Among the technological innovations is also the fireplace that can be managed via App, with Easytech4wood technology which applies digital to wood, allowing the user to manage various functions comfortably from the smartphone or via the Amazon Alexa device, interacting with the fireplace also through the voice .
Innovation enhances moments of well-being and so the Spa enters the home with futuristic armchairs that allow you to enjoy different massages (from shiatsu to air compression) and the hydromassage tub that becomes "portable" and can be installed everywhere, from the wellness room to the terrace.
Recycle, reuse and reduce, to have a sustainable garden: this is possible thanks to machinery that guarantees eco-sustainable maintenance of green spaces, where independence from ecological islands is achieved by recycling and reusing waste.
Scraps that also become pieces of art and protagonists of some works on display, which invite reflection on our relationship with the environment and the need to adopt more sustainable practices.
