These are not BFMTV journalists who welcome businessman Rodolphe Saadé, camera in hand, in front of their premises.
But reporters from France 2 who are preparing a “Additional investigation” on the billionaire Patrick Drahi, who has just sold his channel BFMTV, his radio RMC and all their variations to the Marseille group CMA CGM.
10:30 a.m., this Tuesday March 19, 2024, the new owner of the place makes his first visit to the media which he has just given himself two weeks after his 54th birthday.
Five days earlier, the Marseille shipowner, the fifth largest fortune in France, submitted an offer to buy the media branch of Patrick Drahi's Altice group for 1.55 billion euros.
The operation must be completed this summer, before the procedure for renewal by Arcom of the frequency of BFMTV.
