A customer gets a lot of laughs with his snapshot of a bakery sign.

But can his question be answered?

Kassel - Sometimes signs in supermarkets and other stores don't make customers feel informed, but instead cause exactly the opposite: pure confusion.

For example, a Rewe team from Hesse recently felt compelled to put a notice next to the alarm button.

When they discovered the sign, some people will probably have asked themselves what must have happened for the Rewe team to feel compelled to put up this notice.

The current example is a sign from this category that a Reddit user photographed in a bakery.

Bakery causes excitement with sign: “Am I the only one wondering what must have happened?”

The bakery customer shared the photo with the words: "Am I the only one who wonders what must have happened for there to be a sign like this?"

The note from the bakery team reads: “Dear customers, we would like to point out that due to existing technical conditions, our organic bread can only be cut on our conventional bread machine.

We assure you that this has no impact on the organic certification or quality of our organic bread.”

Bakery sign irritating: “I’ve never seen it before”

The reactions don't take long to arrive.

More than 150 comments have already addressed the strange find.

“I am a teacher in a daycare center.

I can see EXACTLY why they had to put up the sign,” jokes one user.

“There are really different cutting machines for bread?

I’ve never seen it before,” writes another, irritated.

A helpful commenter explains what he thinks the bakery sign might be about.

“Presumably certain people are afraid that their oh-so-healthy organic bread will come into contact with the non-existent pesticide residues in conventional bread in the cutting machine?” Others show very little understanding for this possible fear of bakery customers: “Everyone has gone crazy,” commented a user.

Another complains: “People really don’t have any hobbies anymore.” Many who came across this photo of a Kaufland customer on Reddit were also annoyed.

When the supermarket reference was photographed, one user only thought of the sentence: “Like in the Middle Ages”.
