Highlights: Customer comes across “rubbery but hard chunks” in Aldi pasta and seeks help: “What is that?”. “It’s not food and it shouldn’t be there,” advises one woman. One user suspects that it is most likely a machine part that got into the noodles during production. Such production errors can happen from time to time and - if they are noticed - are often the reason for a recall. But if the machine part stays under the radar, unsavory moments like this arise.

Yikes!

What was sneaking into the chicken noodles?

An Aldi customer makes an unpleasant discovery and can't quite figure out what it actually is.

Munich – This is of course an unpleasant surprise.

And that too in the personal dish.

An Aldi customer came across something in his frozen meal that definitely didn't belong there.

What this part is about is questionable.

One thing is certain: it wasn't edible.

What is that?

Man bites hard part of Aldi pasta and seeks advice

Apparently shocked and puzzled, the man turned to the Reddit community.

He writes: “My daughter and I love the frozen chicken lo mein and had them today.

But we picked at the food and found a rubbery but hard chunk in our dinner.

Any ideas what that could be?” He also posted two pictures showing a white splinter the size of a fingertip.

One user suspects that it is most likely a machine part that got into the noodles during production.

Not far-fetched, such production errors can happen from time to time and - if they are noticed - are often the reason for a recall.

But if the machine part stays under the radar, unsavory moments like this arise.

Foreign bodies in the Aldi product – “you should definitely contact the manufacturer”

And now?

“You should definitely contact the manufacturer.

“It’s not food and it shouldn’t be there,” advises one woman.

Not only manufacturers, but also supermarkets such as Aldi and Lidl are often open and accommodating in such cases.

Customers often receive a refund for the goods – even without proof of purchase.

Luckily, neither the man nor his daughter choked on the plastic part in the noodles.

In the worst case, such splinters can lead to internal bleeding.

But it's even more dangerous: a snake actually sneaked into the Aldi salad in Stourbridge.
