"In Italy we have taken on a mountain of debt to create the Pnrr. Nice thing, but suffocated by a lethal mix of Italian and European bureaucracy. Are we able to untie these knots or not? Or is Europe only capable of producing mountains of rules that do they stifle the entrepreneurial spirit?".
This was said by the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti, speaking at the convention of the Identity and Democracy party "Winds of Change" underway in Rome.
"We have an airline called Ita, it was called Alitalia. We said: 'let's try to build a European champion that can compete with the international giants'. For ten months we have been fighting with Europe which does not allow us to do this ", said the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti.
