This was said by Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who spoke during an event in Varese together with Varese Basket CEO Luis Scola on the topic of sustainability.
"I am increasingly convinced that making young people pay for sport is wrong: it should be free, because in this way it would also be possible to involve poor families, those in which champions hide, as once happened - he continued -. Without facilities and nothing can be achieved in training centers, unfortunately in Italy we suffer from the lack of political sensitivity towards sport. Then we have deficiencies in the world of schools: think that in Holland Ajax and the Amsterdam schools divide the task of training the kids ".
