1 egg
150 g butter biscuits, finely ground
60 g walnuts, finely chopped
120 g desiccated coconut
Cream:
200 g butter, room temperature
2 tbsp vanilla pudding powder
200g powdered sugar
100 ml whipped cream
Chocolate ganache:
300 g dark chocolate
2 tbsp butter

This is how you can prepare the Nanaimo bars without baking:
For the base:
Melt butter, sugar and cocoa in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until smooth.
Stir in the egg and remove from the heat.
Mix shortbread cookies, walnuts and desiccated coconut in a separate bowl.
Add the liquid butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
Press the mixture into a pan lined with baking paper (approx. 20 x 20 cm) and let it solidify in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
For the cream:
Mix the butter and vanilla pudding powder in a bowl until creamy.
Add powdered sugar and cream and mix everything into a smooth cream.
Spread the cream evenly over the chilled base.
Chill the bars again for at least 30 minutes.
For the chocolate ganache:
Melt dark chocolate and butter in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until smooth.
Pour the ganache onto the cold cream and smooth it out.
Refrigerate Nanaimo bars for at least two hours, preferably overnight.
Remove the slices from the refrigerator and cut into pieces.
