Woman saves cross-eyed kitten from street in Russia

Fedya had just been born and was running around the gardens in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don in 2020 as a stray kitten.

Natalya Zhdanova discovered the little cat on her property and took him in because she was afraid he wouldn't survive.

After birth, the animal had difficulty with its coordination and was barely able to move.

Benson the cat also used to live on the streets as a neglected stray, but today he is an Instagram star in luxury.

The owner initially didn't notice that her cat looked different from other cats.

“I didn’t even notice that he looked unusual,” Natalya Zhdanova tells the

.

“He just seemed cute and funny to me.

But my friends and acquaintances told me that I had to show this cat to the world.”

At first, Natalya Zhdanova was skeptical as to whether people on social networks would be interested in her pet.

But she quickly noticed that the velvet paw puts a smile on other people's faces - just like George the cat, who moves quickly despite being paraplegic.

She now regularly posts photos and clips of her cat.

“I am happy that many people love Fedya and understand my work in the form of humorous videos,” says the cat owner, who reveals about her house cat: “He is naive and clumsy like a child.”
