, the teenager who had been missing since he jumped into the river in the middle of a storm, was found dead this Saturday in Brandsen after a search operation that lasted 72 hours.
The young man's body was found by the authorities in the
Samborombón Chico
, near the Puente de la Cava, the same river in which he had dived on Wednesday in the middle of the storm that hit the Province of Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires.
The discovery occurred this Saturday at noon, as reported by the Brandsen Volunteer Firefighters.
After the news of his disappearance, firefighters had begun search work with a boat and troops for a first search of the area.
Also participating in the Civil Defense operation of the Municipality of Brandsen, the Operations and Emergencies Coordination of the Buenos Aires Federation of Volunteer Firefighters Associations and Firefighters of the Police of the Province of Buenos Aires.
As the hours passed and the teenager's whereabouts remained unknown, the tasks became greater, with the action of volunteer firefighters who arrived from Chascomús, Lezama, Ensenada, Magdalena, Bernal, Almirante Brown, Lomas de Zamora, San Francisco Solano and Lanus.
"The Head of the Corps, Commander Mariano Dieguez, representing the entire Institution, deeply thanks each of the people who participated directly or indirectly in the operation, highlighting the commitment and professionalism to carry out the task," said the Volunteer Firefighters of Brandsen.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the entire family of José González."

The disappearance of "Bubi", as he was known in the rural area of the municipality south of the Conurbano, shocked the Brandsen community.
She was 15 years old, she was a River fan and a motorcycle enthusiast.
José had jumped into the Samborombón Chico River on Wednesday at noon, behind the Las Acacias neighborhood.
His family had asked "desperately" in the last few hours to "strengthen the operation for an urgent search."

Bryan was found a day later, 200 meters from where the boy had last been seen.
As a prank, he jumped with other friends and at one point they were close to taking him out, but he went down and they didn't see him anymore," Martín, stepfather of the missing young man, had told Crónica TV when they broadcast the event.
His case had been recorded in a video that showed Chávez's two friends climbing the wall of the José Ingenieros canal, in José León Suárez, at the same time that Bryan jumped into the water and was carried away by the current.
