Shay Avital extension of detention/Nir Pekin
In July 2021, an investigation was opened against the models' agent
Shai Avital
following complaints regarding sexual offenses he allegedly committed.
26 complaints were filed against Avital from different women who complained that the agent had hurt them.
Last December, the last case filed against him was closed, and it was decided that he would be prosecuted for two indecent acts only.
This evening (Sunday) Avital returned to social media when he shared a photo in a story on his Instagram page from a prayer at the Western Wall: "How much I love you Creator of the world, how accurate you are and how much you move me. I came to say thank you thank you and thank you again for an exciting journey that I could not ask for any other gift ! Happy Purim".

As mentioned, the investigation against Avital was opened in July 2021. A short time later he fled the country, until he was arrested in the Netherlands and spent five months in detention in Amsterdam.
He was later extradited to Israel and the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against him for sexual offenses, after he was previously charged with the offenses of indecent act by force, indecent act and indecent act while taking advantage of a woman's state of unconsciousness, or another situation that prevents her from giving free consent .
