A police source told Tass that armed people broke into a police station in Yerevan, Armenia.
According to preliminary data, sounds of explosions and gunshots were heard.
Several people were injured.
No official comments are available at the moment.
According to the Armenian Interior Ministry, quoted by the Russian news agency Ria Novosti, the attack was carried out by three people, two of whom were injured by the explosion of a grenade they were carrying with them.
A person holding another grenade is still barricaded in the building.
