Cleaner and more minimal in bridal, i.e. in clothes for weddings and ceremonies, as if to follow the same fashion trend.

This is the trend seen at Rome Bridal Week 2024, the event that officially opened the wedding season by welcoming, in the pavilions of Fiera di Roma until Monday 25 March, a preview of the world of the bride, the groom, the accessories and the ceremony.

Excellence is the watchword for the national and international brands present.

Space for dresses with an essential silhouette but more structured in the upper part with volumes exaggerated by individual details, such as the sleeves for example.

These are increasingly the protagonists in the foreground together with sweetheart or off-the-shoulder necklines that make the dresses sensual but in a chic way.

And if the journey has inspired most of the collections, transferring their aspirational content into truly dreamy models with a strong predilection for exotic and oriental atmospheres, no surprises for the color palette which, instead, has maintained a constant focus on the classic ivory white and silk, next to powder pink.

Want to dare?

With pastel colors, including a delicious apple green, but also with a strong black, used not only as a point of detail but also in the entire creation.

On your wedding day, everything is worth it while maintaining elegance.

A separate discussion for the Designer Area which debuted at Rome Bridal Week, an ad hoc space which welcomed top national and international designers capable, with their vision with a strong identity and characterized by recognizable aesthetic codes, of creating bridal collections reinterpreted in a couture key.

The result translated into creations capable of looking to the past and reinterpreting its ideas in a contemporary key, with a focus on sustainability, which can also be seen in the choice to use fabrics with natural and untreated colours.

And again, space for structured fabrics, mikado in the foreground, and pearls to embellish accessories, shoes above all, and to be used as applications.

These are trends that are shared both by the brands that are witnesses of the most authentic Made in Italy, capable of combining haute couture with elegance and stylistic harmony, and by the international names that have chosen the stage of the Rome Bridal Week, confirming its essence as a collector of trends and inspirations.
