The embassies of the US and EU countries in Moscow today displayed their flags at half-mast for the victims of the attack on Crocus City Hall on Friday, coinciding with the day of national mourning proclaimed by President Vladimir Putin.
The American embassy placed the photograph of the Stars and Stripes flag at half-mast at the top of its website, accompanying it with a statement of condolences from Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
"We condemn terrorism in all its forms and stand in solidarity with the people of Russia in their grief over the loss of life as a result of this terrible event," the statement read.
