A 20-year-old young woman lost her balance while taking photos on top of a suspension bridge in the mountains of
Córdoba
and
fell about 40 meters into the void
: she is in serious condition.
Security sources from the Department of Punilla reported that
the causes that caused the
young woman's accident are unknown.
According to reports, her identity is reserved but she is from Córdoba capital.
The incident occurred after 4:30 p.m. this Saturday when the young woman was taking photos on the
Copina suspension bridge
, located in Punilla.
There the young woman lost her balance and fell into the void, suffering multiple traumas.
Alerted by the incident, personnel from the DUAR (Fire Department) of the Córdoba Police went to the place, where using specialized techniques, they managed to remove her and send her to a hospital in Villa Carlos Paz.
An operation in which personnel from the Punilla Department and Icho Cruz Volunteer Firefighters collaborated.
According to ElDoce TV, the injured young woman was taken by ambulance to the
Sayago Hospital
, where she received the first medical attention: she had to be intubated due to her serious condition.
After the accident, the 20-year-old girl was taken to a hospital in Villa Carlos Paz.
From the municipal health center they indicated that she arrived "with a very delicate condition" and after being stabilized, she was referred to a private clinic in the provincial capital.
The causes that caused the woman's fall have not yet been clarified.
It is presumed that it could have been an accident, although at this time, the Police are not ruling out any hypothesis.
The police authorities are engaged in the investigation of the incident.
