Monday is sometimes a difficult day to live psychologically.
After two days of well-deserved rest, or busying yourself in 1001 different ways, the alarm rings and it's already time to go back to work.
How to start the week off right?
Our advices.
A lie-in, without overdoing it
The weekend is the perfect time to catch up on a few hours of sleep.
But be careful not to overdo the sleeping in, at the risk of disrupting your sleep cycle.
“Changing your sleep habits every five or six days can disrupt your body's natural rhythm,” recalls Sanam Hafeez, neuropsychologist in New York in the columns of HuffPost (in English).
So, even if you sleep well during the night from Sunday to Monday, you may still feel tired on Monday.
» And who says fatigue, says irritability and bad mood.
The right reflex?
On weekends, it is not recommended to sleep more than 2 hours than your usual waking time during the week.

Adopt the “Sunday reset”
A popular trend on Instagram and TikTok, the “Sunday reset” is a good way to start the week, without too much mental load.
The principle ?
Take one to two hours late Sunday afternoon to clean.
Laundry, dust, tidying up... it's time to get rid of the thankless tasks.
For greater efficiency, the whole tribe is invited to participate.

Batch cooking, the art of preparing meals for the week
Lunch or evening meal, Sunday evening is ideal for preparing meals for the week to come.
Batch cooking (cooking in batches in French) can save precious time by avoiding the eternal question “what are we eating this evening?”
".
Wheat gratin with vegetables and goat cheese, Sicilian eggplant… the first step is to write down all your good ideas and do the shopping accordingly.
The next steps consist of washing, peeling, cooking and canning everything.
The same ingredient bases can be reused to prepare several dishes, to save time.
Lists to get better organized
Another good way to start the week can be to write down all the things to do on the schedule or diary.
Medical appointments, hairdresser's or sports session, the idea is again to reduce the mental load to have clear ideas and be able to modify the agenda if it is too busy.
