An accident involving a Flixbus coach occurred during the night on the A1, between Modena Sud and Valsamoggia, at kilometer 174 in a southerly direction and a passenger of the vehicle died.
The traffic police are still on site with the emergency services, 118 and firefighters.
It happened around 3am and transport was organized for the other people to a service area where a replacement bus then arrived.
The dynamics of the crash are not yet clear.
