The announcement came this Friday, March 22 at the end of the day: after weeks of speculation concerning her absence, Kate Middleton put an end to the rumors by announcing that she was suffering from cancer.
In the process, millions of reactions flooded social networks, from that of the British Prime Minister to that of the White House, including that of Emmanuel Macron, saluting his “strength” and his “resilience”.
But another reaction did not go unnoticed: that of Harry and Meghan.
In a terse message, the couple wished “health and healing” to Kate and her family.
“We hope they can do so privately and peacefully.”

Harry and Meghan, who would have learned the news at the same time as the whole world, also contacted Kate “privately” on Friday March 22 after the announcement of her illness.
A possible reconciliation?
Despite this gesture, reconciliation does not seem to be on the agenda.
According to
The Sun
, the Prince and Princess of Wales even voluntarily chose not to tell them about Kate's cancer directly, "because they cannot be trusted."
While Prince Harry is expected to come to the United Kingdom in May, a rapprochement does not seem likely.
According to a source close to Kate and William, the couple put the “Harry problem” in the background, in order to better focus on the recovery of the Princess of Wales.
