Following Kate's cancer news, the Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly put the "Harry problem" to the back of their minds and made no plans for a reconciliation, despite a potential visit from the Duke of Sussex in May.

The announcement came this Friday, March 22 at the end of the day: after weeks of speculation concerning her absence, Kate Middleton put an end to the rumors by announcing that she was suffering from cancer.

In the process, millions of reactions flooded social networks, from that of the British Prime Minister to that of the White House, including that of Emmanuel Macron, saluting his “strength” and his “resilience”.

But another reaction did not go unnoticed: that of Harry and Meghan.

In a terse message, the couple wished “health and healing” to Kate and her family.

“We hope they can do so privately and peacefully.”
