Shots on the street in Rome in broad daylight: a 55-year-old man was shot in the legs this morning in the Magliana neighborhood.
The anti-mafia prosecutors are investigating.
The ambush took place in via di Pian Due Torri, in the Magliana area, around 9.30.
The alarm was raised by a man who heard the shots and looked out onto the balcony, seeing the wounded man on the ground.
The victim was transported under code red to hospital after being shot in the leg.
At the moment, no investigative hypotheses are excluded.
The perpetrators of the raid fled in a car.
Investigators will acquire the cameras present in the area.
The proceeding, for attempted murder, is coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Carlo Villani who has entrusted the investigations to the men of the State Police Flying Squad.
