Rail traffic is gradually resuming on the Bari-Pescara line, in the section between central Bari and Barletta.
Trenitalia announced this, explaining that the interruption was caused by the bomb scare in Trani station.
Other bomb alerts concerned the Barletta and Bari-Palese stations.
"From 6.30 in the morning, regional and long-distance trains, High Speed and Intercity, have suffered partial and total cancellations and delays", recalls the transport company which has provided for both "the full refund of the ticket for those who have renounced the trip" and "in alternative, the possibility of reprogramming it".
From Trenitalia's Infomobility page it emerges that traffic has "severely slowed down after the intervention of the police".
High Speed, Intercity and Regional trains can record a greater current travel time of up to 60 minutes.
The High Speed, Intercity and Regional trains previously involved in the traffic suspension recorded increased travel times of up to 400 minutes.
