"On the day before the Sapienza Academic Senate, the students occupy the rector's office: no more complicity with Israel, no more of the rector from Med-Or, no participation in the Foreign Ministry's tender, no more agreements with Israeli universities and the war chain".

This was stated in a note from Cambiare Rotta students on Instagram

.

"After the well-attended demonstrations in the city and within the university, after the numerous solidarity initiatives with the Palestinian resistance, the student community is taking the initiative again. The rector and the university governance have so far refused to listen to us, now tomorrow's Academic Senate will have to discuss our demands and put an end to complicity with Israel."

"The refusal of the University of Turin to participate in the Maeci tender and the announcement of the resignation of the rector of the University of Bari from his position in Med-Or, a foundation of Leonardo Spa, show - continues the note from Cambiare Rotta - that the academic boycott is bearing fruit and that we can put an end to the criminal complicity of our educational system with the barbarity of the genocide in Palestine and the wars."

Changing course proclaims an "academic counter-senate for tomorrow at 12pm: everyone in attendance to ask that the 2pm Senate accept the demands of the mobilizing students".
