The EU Commission has formalized the preliminary conclusions on the project to acquire joint control of ITA with Lufthansa and the Italian Ministry of Economy.
The fear, he announces, is that it will lead to an increase in prices for customers and a decrease in the quality of services.
In detail it states that it could reduce competition on a certain number of short-haul routes connecting Italy with central European countries;
reduce competition on some long-haul routes between Italy and the United States, Canada and Japan.
Or create or strengthen Ita's dominant position at Milan-Linate airport.
