Highlights: Georgia-Greece, Ukraine-Iceland and Wales-Poland are the play-offs scheduled for tomorrow to complete the Euro 2024 groups. On paper the most compelling, and also the most open, appears to be the one between Iceland and Ukraine. Six teams for three places.

Georgia-Greece, Ukraine-Iceland and Wales-Poland are the play-offs scheduled for tomorrow to complete the Euro 2024 groups.

Decayed nobles of the football that counts - like Poland or Greece - and looking for a place at the last minute for this summer's continental competition;

but also less famous national teams, such as Georgia, who are playing everything to gain the possibility of their absolute debut in a final phase of the European Championships.

Three challenges with their own history.

On paper the most compelling, and also the most open, appears to be the one between Iceland and Ukraine.

The participation of the Ukrainians, Italy's opponents in the previous group stage, inevitably has a geo-political implication with the yellow and blues intending to keep the attention on the Russian invasion high by all means.

In Wroclaw, Poland for security reasons, striker Artem Dovbyk and his teammates will host a fierce Iceland.

Following coach Sergei Rebrov's team, former AC Milan star Andrij Shevchenko, who has just been appointed president of the Ukrainian Football Federation, will also be present.

The Icelanders rely on the Genoan Albert Gudmundsson: the rossoblu striker is in great form and scored a hat-trick in the 4-1 against Israel in the semi-final.

In Cardiff, Wales, however, will host Robert Lewandowski's Poland.

The hosts are riding high on enthusiasm for the 4-1 win over Finland.

The Poles are no exception and are fresh from a 5-1 defeat of Estonia in the semi-final.

Finally there is Georgia coached by Willy Sagnol.

They will host the strong Greece in Tbilisi trying to make the pitch effect count in a stadium which in recent matches has proved to be bedlam for the opponents.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia returns in attack after missing the semi-final victory against Luxembourg due to disqualification thanks to a brace from Budu Zivzivadze.

Coach Gustavo Poyet's Greece beat Kazakhstan 5-0 in the semi-final and arrives as the underdogs.
