"The fact that the resolution approved by the UN Security Council does not condemn the Hamas attack on 7 October is a shame".
This was stated by the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan.
"Hamas started the war, from this text it seems that the war started on its own - he added - Israel did not want this war".
"Not making the ceasefire conditional on the release of hostages hurts the efforts, everyone should have voted against this shameful resolution," he said again.
No member of the CDS voted against (the text obtained 14 votes in favor and the US abstention).
