The Loto ceiling: what is it, how much is it?
The FDJ Loto involves an evolving jackpot, which increases or resets depending on the players' defeats and victories.
When there is no taker, the amount to be won is generally increased by 1 million euros during the next drawing.
This increase, however, has a limit, called the Loto ceiling.
Unlike that of EuroMillions, which is expressed in euros, the Loto ceiling depends on a certain number of consecutive draws, without a big winner.
Indeed, if no player has managed to guess the winning combination after 34 draws, the jackpot is then divided equitably between the players of rank 2. In the case where this rank does not include any participant, then the players of rank 3 will share the jackpot, and so on.
