Two years after its filming, eight months after its presentation at the Venice Film Festival, it will be visible in French cinemas on May 15.
“The Palace”, the 24th film by Roman Polanski, has finally found a French distributor.
This closed-door sketch comedy filmed in Gstaad (Switzerland) in a luxury hotel on New Year's Eve 2000, stars Oliver Masucci, Fanny Ardant, John Cleese and Mickey Rourke.
It will therefore be released the day after the opening of the Cannes Film Festival.
And the day after the decision which will be rendered by the Paris court in the defamation trial, brought against the director by Charlotte Lewis, who accuses him of rape and whose “lies” he denounced in an interview at the end of 2019.
