Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke about Rafah and humanitarian aid to Gaza with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
This was reported by the State Department, according to which Blinken highlighted that there are alternatives to the Rafah invasion capable of ensuring Israel's security and protecting Palestinian civilians.
Blinken pledged American support to "ensure the defeat of Hamas, including in Rafah," reiterating his opposition to a major operation in Rafah.
