Confindustria Genova will support Edoardo Garrone.
The official delivery is that of silence but, from what transpires, the meeting of the board of directors of Confindustria Genoa today established that the president Umberto Risso and the vice-president Sonia Sandei, who are part of the General Council called on 4 April to designate Carlo Bonomi's successor, the new president of Confindustria, in the race between the Genoese Garrone and EmanueleOrsini, they will vote for Garrone.
The meeting was short, after Risso's communication there was no discussion, also because support for the Genoese candidate was almost taken for granted, it would have been different if two Genoese had arrived at the final match, in addition to Garrone and Antonio Gozzi.
The industrialists of Genoa thus overcome, after the exclusion of Antonio Gozzi from the candidacies for the presidency, the derby climate between Ligurian industrialists which has animated a lively confrontation in the city in the last two months.
Meanwhile, Antonio Gozzi's battle for the readmission of his candidacy continues: this evening - as far as we know - he had a meeting with the board of arbitrators from whom he asked for clarifications.
