The Chinese ambassador to the United Kingdom was summoned to the Foreign Office today after the London government accused Beijing of being behind recent cyberattacks against institutions of British democracy.
He has accusations that China has flatly rejected, but which have also been addressed in parallel to the People's Republic in similar episodes by the USA and New Zealand among the allies of the Five Eyes group.
The call was announced yesterday, as an act of protest, and set for this afternoon.
